They are crucial to our daily lives, and as teachers, we can incorporate them into the classroom. Stocking:
Set up different areas of the classroom for students to stock items, such as:
- Vending Machine Drinks, Candy, and Chips
- Toothbrushes
- Seed Packets
- Gift Cards
- Pens
- Grocery Items



Filing:
- Utility Bills
- Paper (by color)
- Dates
- Last Names
- Letters
- Word Cards

Clothing and Laundry Tasks:
- Fold towels
- Sort laundry
- Fold t-shirts
- Hang up clothes
- Put away laundry (dresser drawers)

Other:
- Shred Paper
- Crimp Paper
- Crush Pop Cans
- Sort Mail
- Alphabetize Library Books or Sort by Genre
- Setting the Table
- Bagging Groceries
- Product Matching
- Sorting Silverware
- Table Wiping
- Vacuuming
