There is a mantra I want you to repeat in your head over and over again – visuals lead to independence, visuals lead to independence, and visuals lead to independence. And my dear friends – independence makes your life easier. And who doesn’t want an easier life. Our jobs are hard enough as it is. So let’s make it a little easier.

I have been sick of the adults in my room have a constant stream of unnecessary reminding my students of simple things. The noise can be overwhelming and too much language can be overstimulating to some of our kids. And most importantly – this can prevent students from becoming independent.
