Sometimes we want to challenge our kids and expose them to harder material. But how do we do so without over prompting or providing too much help? We want them to do the work somewhat on their own but they can’t yet. Teaching our students to use technology as a prompt is an awesome way to make sure our students learn problem solving skills, independence, and get them at that tricky task.
My students were working on some the tricky tasks from the Advanced Literacy Sorts. Sorting Reptiles, Mammals, and Insects is hard! My students use the iPad to look up each answer. What was once a too hard task is now an accessible independent work tasks that targets problem solving, science, and technology use! A quick and easy solution!
