Summer School Lesson Plans & Links

Categories: Curriculum Ideas | Spring

Summer school is just around the corner. Those sweet moments where we can leave a little structure behind, let our hair down and have some fun. I like to view summer school as summer camp with an academic twist. We learn some new games, get active outside, load up on engaging crafts, and try some interactive academic activities. It’s not as structured and rigid which is a lovely change of pace. I found some great summer themed freebies to keep us learning along the way! I didn’t make a monthly plan since it’s going to be a little more fluid. I need a summer vacay from lesson planning! 🙂

Happy downloading! I love all the summer themed clipart – so adorable! These resources would make great homework packets for the summer to send home with students! 🙂

  1. Unique Learning System offers a free summer curriculum! I love it. Check out http://www.n2y.com and click on “Free Unique Summer Camp Currlculum” (summer camp is the theme in the stories, etc. The theme changes every year). Enjoy!
