It’s all about those IEP goals. And there are SO DANG MANY of them. When you figure each student may have been 5-10 IEP goals and you have 8 students then we are talking keeping track of between 40-80 goals. Ummm.. ex-squeeze me?! Time to get organized if you want to tackle that mess!
The are two main ways to approach academic data for your students. Neither way is better than the other and I have bounced between utilizing both philosophies. You can have Data Organized by Student or Data Organized by Center.
First up, gather all of those lovely IEP goals. Write a quick list for each student so it’s easier to view.
Then create a checklist to see where in your classroom each goal will be targeted.
