Scrapbook Visual Craftivity

Creating scrapbooks is one of my favorite activities to complete each year.  It is a great ongoing project that is easy for all students to participate in, appropriate for all ages, and completely engaging. Most importantly, the students LOVE it. One of my old students carried around each year’s scrapbook in his backpack at all times. Warms my heart how much those simple laminated pages meant to him. It something that gives them ownership and it’s something that is theirs!

Use these visuals – Scrapbook Visual Craftivity – to guide your scrapbook creation. Each month develop a few photos of each student. Use the visual directions as a guide. Have students cut out the images and graphics and arrange with photos on a piece of paper and glue. This is a great activity to complete throughout the year to work towards the finished project. It’s a great way to reflect on the previous month, encourage communication, advance vocabulary, and practice social skills!

  1. I love this resource and have bought several things from your teachers pay teachers store. The only thing is I bought this file last month and since I was not prepared for it never took pictures in the months of September Through December. Is there anyway you could update the file so that there are just months without the year attached to them? Also would you ever consider making July and August available as well. I would hate to have bought and not be able to use this great activity.

  2. Great point! I updated it so it no longer includes the years! 🙂

  3. Thanks!!!
