Another pinsperation success! This work task hits all of my must haves: quick to set up, adaptable for multiple students, and CHEAP! At the end of the school year – you know it pains me to bust out my wallet for more school expenses. No worries for this task – I had all of the materials on hand and it took literally less than 5 minutes to make and prep. And the best part – there are countless ways to extend and adapt this task. Ahhh sweet perfection 🙂
I use wooden blocks as the dice and drew/wrote with sharpies. I made a few different sets for my wide range of little learners. I did the numbers, written numbers, written colors, and actual colors.
Students roll the dice.
And make the corresponding set of stamps with the dot markers.
These dot markers are my favorite! We have used them for tons of activities this year (snowflake craft, umbrella craft…)
This task targets fine motor skills, comprehension, following multiple step directions, sight words, and much more! I also made some dice with shapes, line configurations and letters. Then you can even do 3 step directions (color 3 red circles!). Since this is in a “game” setup – you can trick your little kiddos into working 🙂 No shame in that!
