I love fall. Pumpkins, riding boots, crunchy leaves, snuggly blankets, apple cider. Mmmmm. Delicious. There are almost too many fun and adorable fall crafts and activities. I am having a pinterstpolsion. Too many ideas! But when I pinned this little baby – I knew we had to make time for this. This combined so many of my favorite school activities – cooking, sensory play, and fall themed! Love it.
I did this activity with my lower level morning group. My little angels – yes, I said angels – were literally perfect. Ahhh. I wish you could have been there. They were so excited and had so much fun with this. And yes. One of my little guys did try to eat the play dough. But don’t worry – it’s totally safe. And kind of hilarious when they spit it out because it tastes so bad.
I got the recipe from The Idea Room. Check out the link here. It’s super easy and the ingredients are very basic.
We busted out all our play dough toys and had a great time playing in the pumpkin scented goodness 🙂
Happy fall 🙂
