November is upon us my friends! I blinked and October flew by like a witch on her broom. I’ve been hanging on tight and repeating the “just keep swimming, just keep swimming” mantra in my head. This fall has been insanely busy! I swear I would give my pinky finger for five days to just catch up! Luckily Thanksgiving and Winter Break will (hopefully) give us all a few days to breathe! With each new month, comes a list of some stellar freebie resources. I’m all about the fun and seasonal while still make it individualized and meaningful.
These lists are broken into three groups. Level 1: This learner is nonverbal or has limited verbal abilities. He is working on mastering foundational skills in order to move on to more complex material. His goals may include matching, sorting, letter and number identification, and counting. Level 2: This learner has emerging verbal abilities. He has mastered basic skills and is working on more abstract concepts. He is working on foundational literacy skills, basic number operations, and simple social skills. Level 3: This learner is verbal but may struggle with complex expressive/receptive language. He is working on more advanced topics such as higher level grammar skills, extended writing, multi-step mathematical concept, and sophisticated social skills.
