May is well under way and I have to admit – it kind of snuck up on me! Here are my lesson plans for the rest of May and start of June for my morning group. We are doing a read aloud of Mr. Sunny is Funny part of my Weird School Daze by Dan Gutman. My aunt gave my class a bunch of this series and I’d like to encourage some of my students to read these on their own. It’s intimidating – these are chapter books people! So it’s a little book read aloud and a little camping – all mashed together. We will be also doing a vocabulary review on the weekly vocabulary words we have done over the past few weeks (our weekly vocabulary words).
