Do your students need to work on some grammar?  Check out these pronoun grammar boards and plural grammar boards.  These can be great to use during small group instruction or at a work station.  Each set comes with 60 different cards.

During small group instruction you can give the students a card and have him/her identify the correct answer for that card.  This would be good to do if the student still needs help identifying the correct choice or are still learning this skill.  I used these cards in a small group and had each student take a turn identifying the correct answer for that card.  After the students in the group went around the circle 5 times I let the students play a short game.  I used the game Pop Up Pirate this time but any short game for a break works (i.e Ants in the Pants, Jumping Monkeys, etc).  That allows you to do so many cards, take a short break to play the game, and then do another round of cards.

You can also have the students complete some cards during independent work and then you can check them.  The student can use a dry erase marker or clothes pin to mark the correct answer on the grammar board.  After they complete a set number of cards you can check them or for higher functioning students you can have them check a peer’s cards.
