Fall Work Task Mega Pack

Categories: Academics | Work Tasks
Let’s talk about The Autism Helper’s Fall Work Task Mega Pack!  The autumn season is here and it is my favorite time of the year. For me, this season isn’t all about cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice, it is about fun changes in my classroom.

By this time of the school year, my students have settled in and are working more independently. This means it is about time to change out the independent work tasks that they have been working on for the last two months.  I love to make this work task transition with the Fall Work Task Mega Pack because the tasks are perfect for my independent task box center.  My students use work tasks in my classroom daily and I’m excited to show you what is inside this awesome resource!

What is the Fall Work Tasks Mega Pack?

The Fall Work Task Mega Pack is a set of 25 fall-themed work tasks. These work tasks can be used in various ways: they can be used as teaching tools but also as independent work tasks. I have an amazing independent work task system but what makes it so effective is the large number of assorted and differentiated work tasks that we have built up in our supply. Independent work tasks should be differentiated, structured, and visual and the Fall Work Tasks are the perfect fit!

The topics and activities in the Fall Work Task Mega Pack range from basic, fine-motor-based activities to academic, pre-vocational, and higher-level thinking-based activities.  This resource is perfect for any self-contained classroom that needs to differentiate instruction for learners and they are SO EASY to prep!

What I Use to Prep My Tasks

This is a photo of the materials I use to prep my errorless tasks. There are velcro dots, scissors, a laminator, and laminating sheets.

When prepping work tasks for my centers, I always use the following items:

The storage containers work amazing for my classroom but these work tasks can easily be prepped using zippered bags, file folders, or other baskets from a dollar store. With material options, the skill possibilities are endless!

  • Pro tip:  Using different materials to prep and store these work tasks, allow students to practice essential life skills such as opening containers and bags!
