By this time of the school year, my students have settled in and are working more independently. This means it is about time to change out the independent work tasks that they have been working on for the last two months. I love to make this work task transition with the Fall Work Task Mega Pack because the tasks are perfect for my independent task box center. My students use work tasks in my classroom daily and I’m excited to show you what is inside this awesome resource!

What I Use to Prep My Tasks

When prepping work tasks for my centers, I always use the following items:
- Laminator
- Lamination (5 mil works best and lasts the longest)
- Velcro dots
- Sterilite Storage Containers
The storage containers work amazing for my classroom but these work tasks can easily be prepped using zippered bags, file folders, or other baskets from a dollar store. With material options, the skill possibilities are endless!
- Pro tip: Using different materials to prep and store these work tasks, allow students to practice essential life skills such as opening containers and bags!
