I have this and love it. Just like your other file folder activities it is appropriate for each student in my moderate/severe grade 4-6 class. That makes it a terrific item to have in my arsenal particularly because it can be used all year – it’s not seasonal. Thank you Sasha!
I also love that it’s not seasonal. As much as I love the seasonal ones it’s great keeping these bad boys out all year long!

On a side, note (because of your OCD personality, I am probably thinking you have reason for this)- when using Velcro, do you stick the hook (rough side) onto the folder or the loop (soft side) and why?

Totally aligns with the Minions obsession! Great point. Yes – I stick the hook (rough part) on the folders and the soft part on the pieces. Originally I did this because I had PECS books that came premade with the hook on the books. Some people actually do it the other way so the pieces can stick to felt boards. I have never used felt boards so never really considered that. I also think for my tactile kids the hook is easier to feel for on the folder or book. I think the main thing is to just pick one way of doing and always stick to that! 🙂

Yes definitely! I have also done a whole separate station with just file folder tasks when I have needed more independent work centers!
