I bet you all got confused when you read that title, hugh? Economy? Economy? Seems a little too advanced? A little too complicated? WRONG. My students are about to rock this economy unit and I cannot wait to show off their impressive knowledge when they are done. I am proud of my guys. I would have laughed in your face if you told me 3 years ago that I would be teaching a unit on the economy. I could barely get my guys to all sit at the table at the same time. A little ground work and a lot of ABA later – they are ready.
We have had such a great time with our other social studies units this year – geography, the election, community helpers, and recycling. Check out this post to see how I organize my social studies instruction. I can’t wait to get this one started! Check out all that’s in this massive unit. Enough for both your lower functioning and higher functioning students!
