Reading Comprehension Level 4
This level targets the following reading comprehension skills and concepts: sight words (Fry third and fourth 100 list), passages I-Q/400L-700L, story retell, summarizing (fiction and nonfiction), dialogue, theme, point of view, story elements, nonfiction text features, character traits, comparing and contrasting similar stories, shades of meaning, advanced non-literal language, citing text evidence, affixes, defining unknown words, and comparing points of view.
