Community Helper File Folder Activities

We love working on categorizing and associations in my class. It’s a great way to take students beyond just basic matching tasks and it’s essential to get more complicated concepts mastered. These are some of my favorite file folder activities because they target these basic sorting skills but in a super functional way! I am always looking for ways to make work tasks and academics life skill based and these resources hit the spot!

These Community Helper File Folder Activities 6 file folder activities to work on association based on community helpers! Non-identifcal matching helps teach students to sort items based on common features. This is an essential foundational skill that improves categorizing and discrimination. These tasks target functional skills and teaches about a wide range of community helpers.

  6. My own laminator! I buy the menu size laminating pages from amazon! Works super well!
