I have been getting so many behavior emails lately that I decided to scrap my original plans for March and get a behavior train rolling. This is something I have talked a lot about on the blog and it’s always an important topic. No matter what state your classroom is in, it always a good time for a refresher! So this month we will be talking about identifying the functions of behavior, selecting interventions, taking data, and sharing some great materials and resources to help you implement your behavior plans.
I’m excited to share more about one of my newer products – Behavior Plan Flow Charts and Tools. This resource is key for training staff to implement your behavior plans and strategies. It’s fully editable so you can customize in any way. I’ll be sharing more about it later this month. I have a great freebie data sheet coming as well with loads of ideas on how to create simple and ready to go tools to use for a wide range of behavioral issues.
Got question?
Whenever I do a behavior PD, I always have people coming up to me during breaks and lunchtime with specific questions and it always starts the same way – “I have this kid…” I get it. Having a student who doesn’t quite fit into each example can be super tricky. If you have specific questions put them in the comments below or feel free to email me anytime at [email protected]. I’m happy to help in any way!
