I used to spend so much time searching the internet for worksheets and printing a few from this site and a few from another site. My big issues was that I needed a bunch of worksheets for each skill set. My kids weren’t mastering a type of addition by doing 2 or 3 worksheets. They needed a lot of practice. Hello 🙂 I recently purchased the addition mega pack and look forward to using it this fall! I’m wondering if you give your students a time limit when giving the quizzes?
I don’t give a specific time limit but also make sure students aren’t just sitting in front of the quizzes not working on it. We usually take 5 minutes to do the quizzes at the most 🙂
Hi, just wondering how you teach the students the skill of addition ? Do the students use manipulatives while completing their worksheets? A number line?
Depends on the student! I follow the “learner is always right method” and try a few different strategies until I see what is working best with the student. I usually start with manipulatives and then try touch math as well. Hope this helps!
