Adapting Ready-Made Resources

If you tell me you don’t love the Lakeshore Learning catalog, then you are simply a liar. Everything is obsecesnely cute (… also obscenely overpriced …) and creative. Embarrasingly, my favorite part of all of these wonderful materials FIT BACK IN THE SAME PACKAGE THEY CAME IN. Okay fine – all caps wasn’t necessary. But seriously, I have wasted way too much time trying to fit primary colored math manipulatives back into the small plastic container that they had some how previously been stored in. For some reason, I never have that problem with Lakeshore materials. They got it down.

I printed up some modified easier instructions and taped them over the long instructions:

Then I had all new pieces that were understandable and do-able for my kids:

Quick, easy, and ready-to-go!
