If you are a special education teacher seeking a curriculum that is evidence-based, organized, easy to prep, and wonderful for differentiation, then Curriculum Access is for you!
The curriculum provides structure for my students – with a year’s worth of curriculum. Also, it embeds data within the curriculum which makes progress monitoring a breeze (read how you can write IEP goals straight from the curriculum here). Finally, the curriculum is incredibly easy to use for me and my paraprofessionals. As a special education teacher, this is life-saving!
What Makes it Different?
- Training Videos – First, I have access to several quick, easy-to-follow training videos. I watch these from time to time to ensure I am implementing the curriculum correctly. I also do not teach all of the curriculum myself, therefore, I am able to have my paraprofessionals watch and learn from these videos as well.
- Placement Assessments – The placement assessments included help me plan and prep my instruction and curriculum for the entire year. These also help me show parents at the beginning of the year why their child is placed in a specific level.
- Extension Activities – Included are an Implementation Guide and Extension Activity Ideas for each level and unit of the curriculum. Additionally, I get two extension activity downloads PER unit – excellent!
Is the Curriculum Easy to Prep?
Once I have my levels and units printed, I use my binding machine to bind individual curriculum books for my students. If you don’t have a binding machine, no problem! Binders or staples work fine, too!
