I have an obsession with wh- questions. It’s not as adorable or predictable as an obsession with golden doodle puppies or mason jar crafts but the heart wants what the heart wants. And this girl’s heart wants to work who, what, when, where, and why questions at all times. With my lower functioning students I love using adapted books to teach wh- questions. We have books for who, where, when, and how. Having one book for each question is perfect for isolating that skill and really focusing on the one question. But what’s next? It’s time for discrimination! We have got to mix up those questions and make sure our kiddos can answer these questions in any order at any time. This adapted book – Who, What, Where, & When – Mix Up! Adapted Book.
